He now has his eyes set on big plans with the team, the tireless midfielder expressed his frustration with the Arsenal team having to contend with the loser tag and emphasized that the club had to go through an important transition point which was responsible for the spells without contending for trophies.
He added that then they were a team of boys who had now matured both physically and mentally and therefore there were ready to challenge or trophies.
He insisted that with the quality of the squad and the depth at the club this season there was going to be a major difference and that when it came to the times that mattered the team was going to hold its own.
‘And I think that’s what is going to make the difference at crunch time.
‘Winning the Champions League [this year]?
