According to Don Balon, Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is allegedly eyeing stunning moves for Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard and Spurs forward Harry Kane.
The report indicates that Guardiola is eyeing a ‘revolution’ in the Premier League, and these reported signings to weaken City’s two Premier League rivals could help the Citizens dominate even further than they have done this campaign. The Sky blues are already on the path of a historic league season after a record-breaking 15 successive league wins and leading with eleven points on the table, with little sign that anyone can catch Pep’s team.
City already play some of Europe’s best football, with top attackers like Kevin De Bruyne, Leroy Sane and Raheem Sterling particularly eye-catching.
How Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard and Tottenham Star Harry Kane could slot into the team easily that remains a big worry, but Don Balon suggest the Spanish tactician is eager to reinforce his attack even further.
Raiding the Blues for Eden Hazard seems very unrealistic given Chelsea’s own financial power, though signing Kane could be sensible as an upgrade on Argentine Sergio Aguero and Brazilian Gabriel Jesus.
Jesus is young and developing, while Aguero perhaps one of the few footballers at the club this campaign not to look really improved under Pep Guardiola’s style of play.
Aguero hasn’t always been a regular starter for City, having been dropped to the bench for the recent Manchester Derby clash, failing to play a single minute.
