Italian journalist reveals Arsenal raids on Italian Serie A outfit
Emerging reports according to a respected Italian football journalist Nicolo Schira has confirmed that North London outfit Arsenal are in the race for two Sampdoria players Dennis Praet and Joachim in this summer transfer window.
The journalist also confirmed that The Gunners submitted a bid of 42 million euros for the pair as they are desperate to strengthen their squad ahead of the coming season.
Arsenal boss Unai Emery has admitted that the club requires an overhaul, stressing that a number of players will have to leave the club while fresh players would be welcomed.

The fact that the North London outfit parted ways with Wales international Aaron Ramsey and England international Danny Welbeck makes it necessary to bring in replacements for the pair.
Manager Unai Emery was given the mandate to return Arsenal to glory days as well as return the team to Champions League football but that was not achieved with the Gunners gearing to play in the Europa League for the third consecutive season.
However, the Spanish boss has only got a transfer kitty of £40 million to engage with, in the summer transfer window and there is no doubt that it is not enough in their bid to rebuild the team
