Chelsea talisman Eden Hazard has received high praise from his football idol amidst transfer reports linking him with a move to Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid.
The Belgian international star has always maintained that Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is his football idol and the French football legend was quick to point out his quality during his pre-match press conference on Friday ahead of the upcoming Spanish La Liga clash with Eibar.
Zidane and Real Madrid host Eibar at the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu with the hope of capitalising on the fact that the two teams (Barcelona and Atletico Madrid) ahead of them on the league table face each other at the Nou Camp.
The Real Madrid manager told reporters that Eden Hazard is a fantastic player to further fuel recent reports that the Belgian forward will team up with his football idol in Spain.
Eden Hazard has not been secretive about his dream of playing for outgoing European champions Real Madrid.
He has a year left on his present Chelsea deal which expires next summer but the Blues are unlikely to sell him because of the transfer ban hovering over the club.
Chelsea will be hoping that the two-window transfer ban slapped on them by FIFA is rescinded when their appeal is heard on April 11.
