According to new reports by The Times, Michail Antonio – who plays for West Ham in England, is not in good terms with the club’s board and will be attempting to leave the club at the end of this season.
The English star is said to have fallen to a very poor level at the club and Chelsea are favorites to get his signature when summer comes.
Many West Ham fans are getting worried already because the results of their recent bad performances is making them move towards the relegation zone. And they might get even more bothered if the England international should eventually leave the London club at the end of this season.
Antonio has been ruled out for the rest of the season following an injury, and the talented player is not too happy that his consistent performances at the club is still taken for granted – since the management are still hesitating to increase his pay at the club.
Even the duo of Jose Fonté and Robert Snodgrass who are fresh signings at the club, receives higher pay than he does.
If Antonio should leave West Ham, it would be a huge loss to the club considering that he is a versatile star who can play both as a full-back and a winger. This will make him very useful at Chelsea and easily fit into Conte’s new formation and way of play at Stamford Bridge.
