After the drama that took place on the pitch during the Manchester Derby at Old Trafford on Sunday, more ‘activities’ took place in the tunnel after Man City won 2-1.

After battling on the pitch, both clubs collided it n the tunnel when Man United boss Jose Mourinho asked Pep Guardiola’s side to turn their music down while celebrating their win in the dressing room.

And while Mourinho has condemned the unruly behaviour of the visitors, Man City boss Pep Guardiola is taking partial responsibility for the incident.

The Spanish manager made it known that he encouraged his men to celebrate in the manner they did after earning all three points at Old Trafford.

Speaking ahead of his side’s next premier league game against Swansea City on Wednesday, the former Barcelona boss was asked to comment on the brawl, and he said it’s just normal to celebrate after winning big games.

“When we lose [games], we try to accept the defeat, but when we win we celebrate.” Pep said.

The manager said he encourage the players to do so inside the dressing room, but hopes a brawl won’t come up again in the future.

“I am the guy who encouraged them to do that [to celebrate]” Guardiola, who believes the celebrations were not disrespectful, said.
