Real Madrid set to involve Vazquez in 28-year-old’s switch; Arsenal manager likely to agree

According to reports, Real Madrid are readying to offer Lucas Vazquez to Premier League giants Arsenal in a bid to complete the switch of Chilean Alexis Sanchez in a swap move this January.

The La Liga giants are increasingly interested in adding the Chile international forward to their ranks for the second stanza of the campaign, especially as the former Barcelona forward would not be cup-tied in the UEFA Champions League.

This is as reported by Don Balon, who claim the Gunners are likely to agree a bid to bring Vazquez to the North London club as a good replacement for the outgoing Alexis Sanchez.

With Sanchez, 28, looking like departing the club for nothing at the end of the current campaign anyway, the report suggests this could be a good option for the Gunners to be sure they coup something out of the move.

While Lucas Vazquez has not been a regular starter at Real, he has performed well occasionally and looks like a player who could do a good job for the Gunners at the moment.

Top publication Don Balon has also linked the player as a possible transfer target for Merseyside giants Liverpool some months back, though that rumour has since faded out.
