Premier League duo of Chelsea and Manchester United could miss out on the move of Real Madrid wide man Gareth Bale as reports claim he’s most tempted by a bid to join German Bundesliga side Bayern Munich.
several offers on the table
As per Don Balon, the Wales international attacker has several bids to choose from but seems to favour a £89million transfer to Bayern Munich above all others.
The German side could do with a winger of Bale’s quality as they seek long-term replacements for ageing wide men Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben with Gareth Bale an ideal replacement for Robben due to his ability to break in from the right flank onto his stronger left leg.
Recently, Don Balon claimed Gareth Bale was tempted to join reigning Premier League Champions Chelsea, however, in a possible swap deal involving Chelsea and Belgium star Eden Hazard moving to the Santiago Bernabeu, so it may still give Chelsea some advantage in terms of negotiating with La Liga giants Real Madrid.
Premier League giants linked
Premier League giant Manchester United have also been heavily linked with the 28-year-old attacker recently, with Don Balon suggesting discussions were progressing pretty well over him moving to United.
Gareth Bale would certainly find it more harder than in the past to perform at top level in the Premier League, but could slot in perfectly well at a Bayern team that has long dominated the German Bundesliga.
