Club legends set to return to Stamford Bridge after successful meeting with Chelsea director

Premier League Champions Chelsea could be prepared to give club ambassador positions to former midfielders Frank Lampard and Michael Ballack, after the duo reportedly held a meeting with director Marina Granovskaia.

This is as per the Daily Mail, who claimed that Granovskaia held a meeting with the duo, and the Blues director is eager to seal a return to Chelsea for the pair.

The news publication are also claiming that both German Ballack and England Lampard’s return, should an agreement be reached, but this might not happen quickly, as both Ex Blues stars have contractual agreements covering a stipulated time.

During his playing time at Chelsea, Frank Lampard became one of the club’s greatest players of all time.

During his playing time with Chelsea, the former England midfielder was able to score a total of 209 goals, made 150 assists in 632 matches, a great record for a midfielder.

Frank Lampard also helped the Blues to win a lot of trophies, helping them to win one UEFA Champions League title, three English Premier League titles, four English FA Cups, two Charity Shields, two English League Cups and one UEFA Europa League.

For Michael Ballack, the story is similar. During his playing days at the Bridge, the German international scored 25 goals and made 24 assists in 167 matches, a good record considering his relatively old age.
