According to The Sun, Merseyside giant Everton are allegedly prepared to make a stunning £30 million offer for Chilean international forward Alexis Sanchez.

The English Premier League club, who sacked Ronald Koeman as their manager last week after falling down into the Leagues’ relegation zone, have been strongly linked with making a winter transfer move for the wantaway Gunner star during the January transfer window.

The 28-year-old forward, who has played a total of  118 international matches for his country, has netted two goals and made three assists in nine matches in all competitions for The North London club so far this League season.

Alexis Sanchez, who joined Arsenal back in 2014 following his transfer from Spanish La Liga giants FC Barcelona, has scored 74 goals in 153 matches altogether for Arsene Wenger’s team.

However, the former Barcelona superstar has refused to sign a new contract at the North London club, with his existing contract set to run out in June 2018.

The report indicates Everton Chief Executive Farhad Moshiri wants to table a surprise £30 million bid for the Chile international ace in January, who is also a primary and long-term transfer target for runaway leader Manchester City, who came close to signing Alexis Sanchez on transfer deadline day last summer.
