Real Madrid plot transfer swoop for Paul Pogba

According to reports, Real Madrid are keen on a staggering £120million move for Manchester United star Paul Pogba in the summer.

Difficult season for the midfielder

The France international midfielder is enduring a difficult season under manager Jose Mourinho, and seems in a poor run of form as he finds himself in and out of the squad.

Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho has been using the superstar-less in recent matches, suggesting that there’s possibly a lack of trust in the midfielder after his struggles to get used to a more defensive midfield position for United.

United plans to keep Pogba

As per the Sun, there is no intent at the moment from the 24-year-old to depart Old Trafford, while the side also does not want to offload, but La Liga giants Real Madrid are keeping a close eye on the player’s situation ahead of a likely £120million offer.

This development also follows a report by Daily Record that the former Juventus star unhappy with his role in the squad, and that he wants the former Chelsea boss to change his set-up.

Should Pogba leave, it would be a major blow for the Red Devils as they try to catch up with league leaders Manchester City next term, and it would also show poorly on the manager due to his inability to get a footballer who looked one of the best in the game at the Serie A champions to shine in his tactical set up.
