FC Barcelona midfielder and Arsenal transfer target Arda Turan has completed a move away from the Catalan club joining Turkish club Istanbul Basaksehir on loan until the summer of 2020.

According to a report from the Sun, the Turkish attacking midfielder had been a long-term transfer target for the North London club and manager Arsene Wenger but the North Londoners look to have softened their interest in the player in the past couple of months.

The former Atletico Madrid star has failed to play a single match under Ernesto Valverde this campaign and has been totally frozen out of the squad.

The Turkish star will be hoping that his transfer away from his nightmare will be the beginning of the resurrection for his playing career but he might likely always look back on his playing time at the Catalan club with disappointment.
