Arsenal manager Unai Emery has had reasons to make another claim concerning the future of Wales international Aaron Ramsey at the Emirates Stadium.

It is no longer news that the former Cardiff City man will be leaving the North London club in at the end of the season without cashing in on him, as he would be a free agent knowing that his contract is just a few months to expiration.

It was initially suggested that the Gunners will be in a hurry to have Ramsey sold in the winter transfer window so that funds can be raised to be able to sign other players.

But that will not happen with reports that Gunners boss Unai Emery had told the club not to hand a new deal to the Wales international because of the financial burden it would cost the club.

Same has been repeated by the Spanish boss after Arsenal’s 4-2 win over Tottenham in the North London derby as he affirmed that there will be no contract talks again between the club and the player.

According to him, the 27-year-old is as good as a departing player as the club will not be considering a change of mind in his case.
