Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has the quality to win the Ballon d’Or according to one of his teammates.
Ghanaian international left-back Baba Rahman has a close relationship with Eden Hazard and he believes the Belgian international can win the Best Player Award in the nearest future.
Baba Rahman has been a Chelsea player since he moved to West London from German Bundesliga club Augsburg in 2015 and he’s presently on loan at French Ligue 1 club Reims.
In a chat with Goal, the Chelsea loanee talked about the immense potential of Eden Hazard and how he has been a top player for the Blues over the years.
Eden Hazard has been in superb form for Chelsea this term after netting 16 goals in the Premier League this term in addition to 12 assists.
No player has been involved in as many goal contributions as Eden Hazard (28 goals) in this season’s Premier League.
The 28-year-old could leave the club this summer amidst the interest from 13-time European champions Real Madrid.
He has a little over a year left on his current deal at Chelsea which is expected to run out in the summer of 2020.
Recent reports claim that a move to Real Madrid is inevitable for the Belgian international talisman.
