According to renowned Goal Italia football reporter Romeo Agresti, German star Emre Can’s move from Merseyside giant Liverpool to Serie A champions Juventus is agreed.
The 24-year attacking midfielder has undergone a medical test today, signing a 4-year deal with Juventus.
The Reds announced the German star would be leaving Anfield at the end of his deal in the summer after naming the attacker on their released player’s list submitted to the League organizers.
Replacement secured at Anfield
Liverpool have since replaced him with the acquisition of Naby Keita from German Bundesliga side RB Leipzig and Brazil star Fabinho from Ligie 1 giants Monaco.
Both midfielders will fill in the void left by Can’s departure. Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp surely isn’t lacking in midfield, as he will also have Dutchman Georginio Wijnaldum, James Milner, Adam Lallana, Jordan Henderson and England star Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to pick choose from next term.
Liverpool bid Can farewell
The midfielder played 167 matches and contributed about 26 goals across all competitions for the Reds after joining from Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen back in 2014.
In his final campaign at the Merseyside club, the 24-year-old played 38 matches across all competitions.
His last match for Liverpool was in the UEFA Champions League final loss to La Liga giants Real Madrid. The creative midfielder was a decent member of the Liverpool squad, but the way of his departure won’t win him many admirers.
