Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas believes Liverpool’s Phillipe Coutinho will flourish at Barcelona and feels the Brazilian playmaker should become a Barca player.

Phillipe made known his desire to move away from Liverpool during the summer transfer window by handing in a transfer request to force his way out of Anfield. But Jurgen Klopp’s side rejected every bid by Barcelona and refused to let go of the talented samba star.

But the Catalan club are still interested in signing the 25-year-old and even manager Jurgen Klopp confessed he can’t guarantee that the player won’t leave Anfield next year.

The Merseyside club, however, value the Brazilian playmaker at around £127M and have been in talks with the La Liga club.

Coutino is said to still nurture the thoughts of joining the Camp Nou club next year, and former Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas believes he is a perfect player for the Catalan giants.

Cesc joined Barca from Arsenal back in 2011 before moving to Stamford Bridge three years later, and he is one of the most important members of the club.

Barcelona sold Neymar to PSG in the summer and are keen on bringing in another quality player to replace the Brazilian star player.

Apart from Countiho, other players like Willian and Mesut Ozil have also been linked with moves to Camp Nou.
