Chelsea Star Dismisses Real Madrid Chants During West Ham Game

Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has played down transfer reports linking him with a move to reigning European champions Real Madrid.

The Belgian international dismissed the Real Madrid chants from the West Ham United supporters after his match-winning display against the Hammers.

Eden Hazard told Sky Sports that his focus is on Chelsea at the moment before adding that the target is for the Blues to secure a top-four finish at the end of the current Premier League season and also win the Europa League.

The 28-year-old has been constantly linked with a move to Spanish La Liga giants Real Madrid and those transfer rumours have increased following the reappointment of French football legend Zinedine Zidane as the Real Madrid manager.

Zidane talked about Eden Hazard in one of his recent press conferences as he said that he’s a big fan of the former Lille player.

Eden Hazard showed his football idol Zidane and Real Madrid what they are missing on Monday night during the Premier League game with West Ham United.

The Belgian national team skipper was undoubtedly the star of the show as Chelsea moved up to third on the league table with a 2-0 win over the Hammers in their London Derby clash.

Eden Hazard scored both goals either side of the halftime interval.
