Manchester United new defender to join senior team in training after weeks in injury
One of Manchester United signings in the summer transfer window from Portuguese league, Diogo Dalot has been given a green light to join the senior team for training by Man United fitness trainers.
Diogo Dalot, who the Red Devils had signed alongside Fred was unable to participate for Man United in the preseason games and their first game against Leicester City owing to an injury.
Report disclosed that at some point, Man Utd coach, Jose Mourinho had given an update about the player not resuming to Old Trafford until September as the injury was quite severe.
However, with the look of things, the young defender will join the senior team in training this week and probably play for them in their match next week.
Jose Mourinho has suffered a dearth of defenders as Matteo Darmian had taken the position of a right back player owing to the injury on Anthony Martial and Ashley Young is also lacking the right fitness.
Therefore, the arrival of Diogo Dalot will be a boost to the Man United side.
Jose Mourinho is not satisfied with the signings he made in the summer transfer window except for that of Fred.
