Arsenal, United lead race for 21-year-old sensation

A number of English Premier League sides are reported to be interested in the signature of France international Marcus Thuram with the hope that they can land him in this January winter transfer window.

The Sun reports that Marcus Thuram is set to be the big thing in French football with his impressive performance as he is tipped to be more efficient than his father in the national team.

Marcus Thuram is being monitored by the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham with an offer expected to be received for him before the end of January.

However, the Red Devils and the Gunners are tipped to be leading in the race for the star player as they hope to land him after he impressed this season.

Marcus Thuram is only 21 years of age but he has been able to steer the attention in the French Ligue 1 by scoring a total of 10 goals in the 17 games under his belt.

The star player is the son of French 1998 World Cup winner Lilian and has been tipped to outshine his father with his level and potential he has displayed.

Suggestions are that United will win the race for the star player especially now that they have returned to winning ways.
