Manchester United manager might still be sacked by the board if the call made by former Liverpool striker Stan Collymore is to be harkened unto by the United owners.

The Manchester United managers had few hours before the tensed game against Newcastle United broke their silence and made their support public for Mourinho.

They dismissed all speculations of sack of the manager, describing it as ‘nonsense’

However, the former Chelsea manager went into the game knowing he would not be sacked; not minding what the outcome of the result would be but ended up coasting a 3-2 victory on Saturday evening.

While admitting the Mourinho might return his side to winning ways, he stated that the Portuguese manager lacks man management which would still cost the United team in the course of the season.

He made it clear that the issues at United started with the poor management of players which could still be experienced.
