Angel Gomez has finally signed his first professional deal with Man United, and it was confirmed some hours ago.
Gomez has been impressive at his level, and he deserves a big upgrade at Old Trafford.
In 20 appearances for Manchester United’s U-18 side last term, the 17-year-old scored 12 goals and provided six assists to his teammates.
This season, in 10 games for the club’s U-18 side, he has scored five times and has provided three assists too.
Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is obviously a big fan of the youngster, and his superb performances have even caught the attention of legend like Ronaldinho.
With his talent, it shouldn’t be surprising to see him in Mourinho’s starting XI soon.
Gomez naturally plays behind the centre-forward, and we expect Jose to always use him in that position.
