Breaking! Chelsea Swoop In To Beat Liverpool For Midfielder’s Signature, Ideal To Partner Kante

Chelsea Now Set To Beat Liverpool to sign Mahmoud Dahoud in summer

Current Premier League title leaders Chelsea have reportedly held talks to seal the transfer of Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder (who is also a long-time Liverpool target) Mahmoud Dahoud ideal partner for Kante.

Chelsea are among the top European clubs who are interested in getting the signature of the highly-rated 21-year-old. Dahoud became a regular for the Bundesliga giants last season and even contributed five goals from the middle of the park.

According to the Guardian, the youngster had been reported to have agreed a deal with Gladbach’s rivals Borussia Dortmund, however the blues seem to believe they can hijack the deal.

Former Juventus manager and current Chelsea coach Antonio Conte is keen to signing a box-to-box player to partner with in-form N’Golo Kante, and has also been linked with others like As Roma’s star play Radja Nainggolan and Atalanta starlet Franck Kessie.

However, he will be in the final year of his contract next season and could be available for free – which has alerted the Stamford Bridge club and led them to approaching the player.

The West London club have supposedly been in touch with the Germany Under-21 international’s representatives about the prospect of moving to Chelsea.

Liverpool To Lock Horns With Manchester United

According to another report, Manchester United and Liverpool could go head to head in the attempt to sign Bordeaux star striker Malcolm come summer.

Clubcall are reporting that the teenage forward has been scouted by the two Premier League teams in recent weeks, although the 19-year-old star is under contract at the French club until 2020.

Ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window, the duo of Liverpool and Manchester United are likely to be on the lookout for attacking reinforcements as the duo look to bolster their squads ahead of the 2017-18 campaign.

The report stated that club scouts from both Manchester United and Liverpool were in attendance at the Stade Matmut Atlantique on Friday as Bordeaux lost 3-0 to Paris Saint-Germain.

This season so far, the Samba star has been a regular fixture in the Bordeaux team and in 24 Ligue 1 appearances for the French side, has scored four goals with one assist to help them up to seventh place in the table.
