Bertrand Traore really made good use of his chances at Ajax in the just concluded season.
The talented striker was impressive at the club and was able to score 13 goals in 39 appearances for the Dutch giants. And as expected, a handful of top clubs across Europe are willing to get his signature.
He scored four goals in 16 appearances for Chelsea, and seem set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer since he isn’t included in Antonio Conte’s plans next season. Also, some of the big clubs registering their interest in him can offer him Champions League football next term.
In England, it is understood that two premier league clubs (Everton and West Ham) are interested in him and have made offers for him.
In Germany, it is believed that the Bundesliga sides of Schalke and Borussia Monchengladbach are also after his tail. However, the Burkina Faso star is said to be set for a move to France to join Ligue I heavyweights, Lyon.
French outlet L’Equipe claimed Lyon are in advanced talks with the Premier League champions for Bertrand’s transfer.
Additionally, the Ligue I club are said to be hopeful of agreeing on personal terms with the African star by the end of the week.
With Romelu Lukaku likely to return to Chelsea this summer, Bertrand is better off elsewhere!
