Again, Another Man United Player To Be Banned Following Chelsea FA Cup Game!

Marcos Rojo

Even though the Chelsea Vs Manchester United FA Cup game is gone, it seems we can’t just stop talking about it.

And as things stands now, the current thing people are talking about is that Manchester United defender Marcos Rojo could face a five-match ban after what appears to be a stamp on Chelsea star forward Eden Hazard in the closing stages of United 1-0 loss to Chelsea.

The Argentine fouled the Belgian and followed through with his foot on Eden’s chest in an incident which was not seen by the referee Michael Oliver, but could see the Argentina international face disciplinary action.

Just recently, Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings was given a five match ban by the FA for stamping on striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s head.

And the Argentina international could face a similar sanction if the Footballing Association decide to take action.

Rojo was quite brilliant in the match and many Manchester United supporters would believe it’s pointless banning him. We all are still expecting updates from the FA themselves and we look forward to it.

As things stands now, the duo of Ander Herrera and Zlatan Ibrahimovic are already banned for the premier league game this weekend. So if Rojo should be joining them on the sidelines, it won’t be a pleasant one to Jose Mourinho.
