Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes Manchester United star player Henrikh Mkhitaryan is coming to the Emirates Stadium to replace Alexis Sanchez in North London before the end of the ongoing winter transfer window.

Sanchez is getting closer to completing a move to Manchester United after the red devils offered a huge package to him and his agent.

Arsenal are still looking for ways they can get much more from the deal – and it is believed this is one of the factors still holding back Sanchez’s move. But with Mkhitaryan set to move to the Emirates Stadium, things are likely to move faster in the coming days.

Although the Armenian has been struggling with form this season at Old Trafford, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believes the former Borussia Dortmund playmaker can compensate for the loss of Alexis.

Sanchez has been very much impressive at Arsenal and is undoubtedly one of the best players in the world. In 122 English top flight games for the gunners, the former Barcelona man has scored 60 goals, providing 25 assists to his teammates.

But Arsene believes Mkhitaryan, who was named the best player in the Bundesliga in 2016, can flourish at Arsenal.

“One [Herinkh] would replace the other [Alexis]” Wenger said.

We fold our arms waiting for what the next update will be.
