Ajax youngster Justin Kluivert is allegedly set to turn down a contract offer that would make the player the highest paid player at the Dutch club following interest from Premier League giants Manchester United.

Manchester United keen on youngster

According to a report by the Daily Mirror, the 18-year-old has emerged a top transfer target for United manager Jose Mourinho and looks to be interested in a potential offer to join United.

The son of former Dutch forward Patrick Kluivert, the teenager has made good impression at the Dutch club this campaign and could replicate his Dad by enjoying a fantastic career in the game.

Former Manchester United goalkeeper Edin van der Sar is thought to be doing all he could to keep hold of the youngster, as per the Mirror, but it’s presently looking promising for the Red Devils.

Swap deal imminent

Earlier this term, the Daily Mirror also linked Manchester United with a possible move for the starlet in a swap move involving defender Daley Blind.

While the Portuguese tactician isn’t really known for handing chances to youngsters, it looks clear Justin Kluivert is a special player who’d most likely be set to challenge for regular shirt straight away.
