Arsenal tactician Arsene Wenger has handed advice to Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino on ways to win silverware as a manager, according to a report on Sky Sports.
The French tactician has said that their local rivals need to get over their fear of failure.
Since manager Pochettino took over at the club, the North London club have been performing incredibly well and finished the season above Arsene Wenger’s men in the English Premier League for the very first time in the Frenchman’s 21-year reign at the North London club.
However, Tottenham have failed to lift a silverware since their English League Cup triumph back in 2008.
When Arsene Wenger was asked how the local rivals could lift trophies, the Arsenal boss said all they need to do is to keep their nerves and the manager needs to get his players to focus on important things.
He stated that at some point, you need to fight a little bit against your inhibitions-the fear of failure.
The former Monaco said this before his teams clash with Spurs on Saturday and also went ahead to hit back at people saying that Tottenham are now a better side to his.
Wenger believes that the Gunner have not been paying attention to the rise of their local rivals, rather they have been more focusing on their own progress over time.
