Reigning European champions Real Madrid are reportedly set to hold face-to-face talks with Chelsea over their star player Eden Hazard.

According to the publication from the stables of the Daily Mail, Real Madrid officials have scheduled a face-to-face meeting with Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia over their quest to sign the Belgian international star.

Real Madrid have made Eden Hazard their top transfer priority for this summer as they try to rebuild their squad after an average campaign.

The Spaniards failed to win a major trophy bar the FIFA Club World Cup this season.

Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has already talked up the possibility of signing Eden Hazard alongside Clinton president Florentino Perez who confirmed that they were interested in a deal for him in previous seasons but they were unsuccessful in their bid to sign the Belgian international player.

On his part, Eden Hazard is keen to seal his dream move to Real Madrid and the chance to work with his football idol, Zinedine Zidane.

The aforementioned publication revealed that Chelsea have already had three informal bids turned down for Eden Hazard ahead of the face-to-face meeting with Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia.

Eden Hazard has just one year remaining on his present contract at Chelsea.
