Manchester City and Juventus are expected to go head to head in battle for the services and signature of Alexis Sanchez if he fails to agree a new contract with Arsenal.
The Mirror reports that since August Sanchez has been in talks with Arsenal over extending his stay at the club but with no agreement reached between both parties, Manchester City and Juventus are ready to swoop in for the star forward who and could pay up to 50 million pounds for his services.
The Chilean has been in terrific form for Arsenal this season and is holding out for a huge increase on his present deal which sees him earn 130,000 pounds a week.
The Chilean International at the end of the season will have a year remaining on his contract and Arsenal is eager to have him sign for another three years.
With talks ongoing since August, Sanchez realizes that he is in great shape and wants his next deal to reflect his present form and is looking forward to receiving and signing a lucrative contract.
Manchester City and Juventus both know that Arsenal will certainly sell if Sanchez does not agree a deal soon and is left with a year on his contract and both clubs are ready to take advantage of the situation if it happens.
Juventus were interested in Sanchez in the past when he was at Udinese and wanted him to join them in Turin but the 27-year-old decided to move to Barcelona in a 26 million pound deal and was coached by Pep Guardiola who is now the coach of Manchester City.
