Alexis Sanchez

According to reports, Brazilian duo of Neymar Jr and Dani Alves have been trying to tempt unsettled Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez to join them at Ligue 1 side Paris Saint-Germain this summer transfer window.

The Chile international forward has been strongly linked with a transfer away from the Emirate Stadium after entering the final year of his Arsenal deal.

European heavyweights like big spenders Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City have shown interest in signing the want away Chilean.

And according to Spanish publication Don Balon, his former team-mates at Barcelona Neymar Jr and Dani Alves have been trying to lure him to join them in Paris.

Neymar Jr left Barcelona for PSG in a world transfer record £198million deal earlier this summer, while Dani Alves joined PSG on a free after leaving Serie A giants Juventus this summer.

But the Parisians also face fierce competition from Premier League side Manchester City, with Spanish publication Don Balon adding City are preparing a £60m offer for him.

Pep Guardiola also worked with the 28-year-old forward during his time at Camp Nou before selling him to North London club Arsenal for about £35m back in 2014.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is keen on keeping Sanchez for the last season of his deal, despite the risk of losing him on a free transfer next summer.

Arsenal are thought to have offered the Chilean a whopping £300,000-weekly contract to remain at the club, but he is not planning to extend his stay.
