Arsenal close to signing £45m-rated star

North London side Arsenal are not giving up in their bid to secure the signature of French Ligue 1 outfit Paris Saint Germain star midfielder Adrien Rabiot with the hope still alive that they can secure his signature in this January winter transfer window.

The North London side are aware of the interest from Adrien Rabiot from big European gun especially Chelsea, Barcelona and Liverpool but they are keen to secure his signature.

Gunners are making the big move to have a perfect replacement for Wales international Aaron Ramsey who is set to leave the club as a free player at the end of the season.

The former Cardiff City star midfielder failed to agree on a new deal with his employers owing to the ambiguous weekly wage demand he placed on the table. The Arsenal side were unwilling to meet with his demands.

However, manager Unai Emery is keen to do all within his powers to secure the signature of the star player so as to be able to meet with his target of qualifying to the Champions League next season.

Meanwhile, Adrien Rabiot is reported to be unhappy at the French side as he has fallen out with the club
