West Ham star player Marko Arnautovic has been consistently in the news recently due to his links with Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United.
The talented Austrian has been heavily linked with a move away from West Ham after emerging as a target for the Old Trafford club.
However, the latest being said about him is that his current side have slapped a ‘mischievous’ £60 Million price tag on him.
Marko worked briefly with manager Jose Mourinho back then at Inter Milan, and it’s understood the Portuguese tactician is interested in reuniting with the talented player.
A few days back, the former Chelsea boss travelled to watch the 29-year-old represent Austria in their international friendly game against Russia, and it appears the tactician was impressed with the player’s performances.
Marko joined West Ham from Stoke City last summer and was able to settle quickly to life at the London club. Since the club signed David Moyes in the dusk of 2017, Marko scored 11 goals and was able to finish the term as West Ham’s Player Of The Season.
According to reports, Mourinho believes the player would provide good back-up for Belgian star Romelu Lukaku at Old Trafford. However, the London club are trying to hold on to him and have slapped a £60M price tag on him.
