Club boss still Keen on Reuniting with Arsenal’s contract rebel

According to the Daily Star, Premier League giant, Manchester City remains sure of signing Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez this summer transfer window, whose contract expires in 12 months time.

Despite claims from Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger that the Chilean will not leave the London club this summer, Pep Guardiola tutored Manchester City remain highly confident that they can still land the Arsenal superstar this summer.

Speaking about Alexis Sanchez, Arsene Wenger said, “The Arsenal board back me (Wenger) 100 per cent to make the decisions on technically. That means which players stay or go.”

Manchester City believes that the former Barcelona man is keen on moving to the Etihad Stadium this summer and are hopeful that the Gunners will decide to sell the 28-year-old this summer transfer window, who they risk losing on a free transfer in a year time.

The former Bayern Munich and Barcelona head coach want one more forward through the door before the commencement of the new league campaign, with the Etihad club starting off their 2017/18 season away to Premier League new boys Brighton this Saturday.

The Arsenal attacker and the City boss were formerly together in Spain while at FC Barcelona and Pep is hoping he can reunite with his former attacker in the City of Manchester this summer.

Guardiola also has his eye set on AS Monaco star Kylian Mbappe. However, Mbappe looks to favouring a transfer to boyhood club Real Madrid this summer transfer window instead.
