Jose Mourinho has said that he is still famous amongst the Chelsea fans despite receiving some gruelling chants in his last visit to Stamford Bridge according to Independent.
His Manchester United team travel to the Bridge on Sunday to lock horns with the Blues, in a game seen as one of the toughest matches of the Premier League season, as they visit a venue they have never secured a win since 2012. Even in the previous two matches, Manchester United were once trashed 4-0 where Jose Mourinho confronted Antonio Conte. The match also saw some of the Blues supporters chanting “You’re [Jose Mourinho] not special anymore!”
The next loss came in the English FA Cup match and even though it was a tough encounter, the Red Devils were knocked out from the competition they were defending.
The former Real Madrid boss has been one of Chelsea’s most successful managers, having won the English Premier League title three times in his two different stints with Chelsea, yet faces a possibility of facing a lot of controversies once his team takes on Chelsea on Sunday.
Jose Mourinho, however, will not be the only former Chelsea Employee facing his former side this time around. Serbian international midfielder Nemanja Matic, who joined Manchester United in the summer, will be facing his former team as well, as well as Juan Mata.
