Wolves feel they have a good opportunity of signing Victor Lindelof this summer window after submitting two different offers to Premier League giants Manchester United, according to TEAMtalk.
Defender has failed to impress
Lindelof, 23, arrived at United last summer transfer window in a £31m from Portuguese side Benfica, but the Swedish has not impressed and only played 29 matches across all competitions – only 17 of which were in the English Premier League.
And with Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho already considering signing a big player replacement – the likes of Raphael Varane and Samuel Umtiti has been heavily linked.
Wolves keen on United man
As per sources, Wolves have already made contact with the Red Devils about a swoop for the European star and will either take him on loan or a permanent deal, with the former Chelsea boss considering if to accept or decline their offer.
The Manchester United manager is wary about allowing him to leave so soon, but the opportunity to recoup his investment might be too tempting an offer to reject.
The defender is well known to manager Nuno Espirito Santo thanks to the centre-half’s time with Benfica and the winners of the English Championship are quite sure he could be their first signing in what promises to be a very busy summer.
