Gedion Zelalem

A long wait it has been for both Arsenal fans to see their promising player, Gedion Zelalem return from injury after 16-month of nursing a horror knee injury.

His performances as a 16-year-old during the pre-season tour to Asia in 2013 would be one to remember of the lad by the Gunners.

He was tipped to be the next Cesc Fabregas with his brilliance on the ball and his clear-cut passes. But it is unsure if that will still be seen in Arsenal or another club.

This feat handed him his senior debut for Arsenal in an FA Cup match against Coventry City in 2014, and also feature in a Champions League match later that year before joining Rangers on loan in August 2015.

This is because the young lad is reported to be leaving the club anytime soon as he not in the plan of the current Arsenal manager, Unai Emery.

Although, the midfielder has been given a big boost by the Spanish manager alongside other players to train with the first-team since most players are away on international assignments.

He is to join Emile Smith Rowe, Tolaji Bola, Julio Pleguezuelo, Nathan Tormey, Robbie Burton and Charlie Gilmour in this week’s sessions at London Colney along with the likes of Mesut Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette and Hector Bellerin.
