Chelsea vows not to sanction Thibaut Courtois transfer till a replacement is made
English football club, Chelsea is on a search for a new goalkeeper as the Blues current Goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois had made decision to leave England.
Courtois has been linked to Real Madrid as the Belgium international had stated that he wants to move closer to his children, who are based in Madrid.
Report disclosed that the goalkeeper, who has less than one year to go have refused to put pen to paper to extend his stay as he stands firm on his decision to leave.
As a form of feedback, Chelsea has stated that they wouldn’t sanction his move unless a replacement was made.
In order to speed up the transfer, Chelsea is already in talks with Italian club, Roma goalkeeper, Alisson Becker.
Report disclosed that Roma FC was willing to beat down transfer price for the Brazil international to a tune of £61 million.
The problem here, however, is that Chelsea is not the only club interested in signing Alisson as Liverpool is also looking forward to adding him to their squad. As he is expected to replace Liverpool goalkeeper.
It, however, remains unclear if Alisson will join the Blues as Thibaut Courtois insist on leaving Stamford Bridge.
