Arsenal striker responds to interest from China

North London outfit Arsenal striker and Gabon International Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has responded to reports linking him away from the club in this summer transfer window.

The report had claimed that two Chinese outfits are in the chase of the former Borussia Dortmund striker, with suggestions that he could consider the move because of his inability to win titles with the North London outfit.

The Gabon international has now made it clear that he will not seek a move away from Emirates Stadium, stressing that he is happy with Arsenal.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been impressive for Arsenal since he joined the club and this season was no different. He won The Golden Boot alongside Liverpool players, Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah, who scored 22 goals each in this season.

However, Arsenal are reported to be preparing a bid that will have him remain at the club for more years and that will involve some financial benefits. This is to encourage him to stay at the Emirates Stadium for more years.

It has, therefore, been suggested that there should be more recruitment of quality players across all departments to strengthen the team ahead of next season’s challenge if Arsenal must return to the Champions League or win a title.
