We are midway into the January transfer market and things are really happening in terms of players moving from one club to another.

Chelsea playmaker and ‘false 9’ Eden Hazard was in the news this afternoon as Madrid have reportedly reignited their interest in his services.

The Belgian star has been the Los Blancos prime target for over three transfer markets but are yet to record any major breakthrough in their negotiations with the Blues.

Last season, the Spanish giants, under Zinedine Zidane’s watch, tabled a mouthwatering £180m offer for the player’s services but the Blues weren’t convinced.

According to Goal, the Los Blancos are back with another eye-catching offer for the 27-year-old versatile star but Sarri has turned down the chance to partway with the player.

Despite having many strikers under his watch, the Italian manager has solely relied on the Belgian for goals this term. Therefore, Sarri’s decision to hold on to Hazard’s services beyond this season is understandable and glaring for all to see.

In other news, Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain who is on loan to AC Milan is desperate for a move to Stamford Bridge

According to Tutto Sport, the Argentine has submitted a transfer request to the Old Lady’s hierarchy as he wants to force a reunion with Maurizio Sarri before the end of the campaign.

The former Real Madrid striker isn’t doing too well for the San Siro outfits in the League, nonetheless, the Serie A giants love to have him in the team throughout the season due to his experience.

Higuain is tipped as Morata’s replacement because the Spaniard could be heading back to La Liga this month as Barcelona, Sevilla and Atletico Madrid are keen on his signature.
