Chelsea Set To Snatch Man United Target With £30M

According to reports, premier league champions Chelsea are set to make a fresh move for Stoke City shot-stopper Jack Butland since Thibaut Courtois is yet to clarify his future at Stamford Bridge.

Courtois has been strongly linked with a move to Real Madrid in recent times, alongside the likes of David De Gea and Athletic Bilbao shot-stopper Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The Champions League winners continue their search for a new goalie and has identified Courtois as a good guy for the job.

It is also understood that Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in bringing him over to France.

And the Daily Mail made it known that since the Belgian’s future at Stamford Bridge remain unclear, the premier league champions are standing on their toes to bring in a new keeper, should in case Thibaut leaves next summer, and Jack Butland is high on their priority list.

Also at Old Trafford, it is yet to be known if David De Gea would extend his stay at Manchester United, and it is understood that the red devils are also planning on bringing Butland to the Theater of dreams should in case the Spaniard leave the club.

Stoke City will however not sell him cheaply, as the England international is expected to command at least £30M.

The 24-year-old turned down the chance to join Chelsea in 2013 but instead chose a move to Stoke.
