The rivalry between Arsenal and Tottenham seem unending even after retirement from the game for the players.
This has been proven with former Arsenal player Paul Merson who still thinks the London rivals are inferior to his former side not minding what the situation has been in the past few years.
It has been an age-long rivalry between both side especially with boasts from the supporters of wins and achievements.
Arsenal have always had the take because of their past success but the bad outings in recent years with the failure to qualify for the Champions League has now given Tottenham the edge.
Merson was quick to give a sarcastic answer when asked about the achievements by Tottenham and how it could go a long way in helping them keep their big names at the club.
The Arsenal legend was quick to ask, “which success” because he feels they are nowhere close to being referred to as a successful club.
The last time Spurs last won a trophy is a decade ago but the narrative is almost changing with the coming of the current manager Mauricio Pochttino who has done well to go ahead of Arsenal in the last two seasons especially qualifying to the Champions League in what seems like taking the place of the Emirates Side.
