Philippe Coutinho Finally Agree Transfer Deal

Philippe Coutinho has been heavily linked with a move away from Liverpool ahead of the upcoming January transfer window, and it appears the Brazilian star is destined to leave Anfield to Barcelona next year.

According to reports, the La Liga giants are closing in on a deal for him and have agreed to his personal terms.

The former Inter Milan player was keen on joining the Catalan giants last summer and handed in a transfer request to force his way out of Anfield.

His club, however, refused to sell him and rejected all three big-money bids offered by Barca.

The Camp Nou club are keen on bringing Phil to Spain to replace Neymar – who was sold to PSG for a record-breaking fee.

And despite being impressive at Liverpool this season, the player remains keen on a move to Barcelona, and there are new reports his agent held a meeting with the Catalan giants last week.

According to Sport (via Metro), Barca have agreed to offer Countiho a deal that will see him earn £10.6m each year (around £200,000-a-week)

However, while personal terms have been agreed, the Spanish club will need to convince his club to agree to sell the player next year.

To be realistic, it is unlikely Liverpool will agree to sell him in January, but we can’t tell what will happen next summer.
