Chelsea And Man United On The Verge To Battle For Attack-minded Fullback

Barcelona star player Jordi Alba has been heavily linked with a move away from the Spanish club this summer.

The talented player has been linked with the premier league duo of Chelsea and Manchester United, and it appears he will play in the premier league next season.

It was made known that the full-back has been awaiting a new deal at Camp Nou, but unfortunately, none is here yet.

Alba’s current contract is meant to expire in 2020 and he was promised a new contract some months back by the Camp Nou club. However, the Spanish champions are yet to place anything on the table for him to sign, and the player seem bothered.

It was made known that Manchester United and Chelsea are now aware of the situation and are set to take advantage of the issue by persuading Jordi to make a move.

Both English sides have certain things in common no doubt. Both are set to splash some cash this summer to strengthen their respective sides, and they are keen on signing new defenders.

Manchester United’s Jose Mourinho is particularly desperate to sign fullbacks that can replace the duo of Ashley Young and Antonio Valencia at Old Trafford.
