Mesut Ozil claimed he was sick to avoid playing in a new position

Former Real Madrid star and retired Germany international, Mesut Ozil did the unexpected after Arsenal new coach disclosed he will be playing in a new position ahead of their game against West Ham.

Although, the Gunners won their game against the Hammers on Saturday, which happens to be their first win,  but the attitude of Mesut Ozil needs to be put in questions.

The Gunners fans noticed the retired Germany international was not part of the first eleven and was not on the bench in their Saturday match and many asked why.

Well, Arsenal FC had simply stated illness as the reason for the absence of the midfielder.

Coach Unai Emery went on to disclosed that he had informed Ozil he would play in a different position apart from No 10 and the player had shortly pulled up a sick stunt.

This was why he was dropped and left to take care of his body, however, the midfielder was seen on the training ground with his teammates on Saturday.

This may mean that the Midfielder had done it on purpose and it looks as if the Arsenal board are not happy with him as he may be on his way out of the club soon.

Another report stated that Ozil was dropped because he shouted at Unai Emery during training.
