Antonio Conte Wants To Beat Jose Mourinho To Sign These Two Top Premier League Stars

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is prepared to bring in the Premier League duo of Romelu Lukaku and Virgil Van Dijk next summer, according to reports.

The Blues have been linked with moves for several players this season, with reports that Conte is not pleased with the size of the current squad at the Stamford Bridge; Reports in Metro Uk have now confirmed that the Blues boss is prioritising deals for Everton striker Romelu Lukaku and Southampton centre-back Virgil van Dijk next summer transfer window.

The report claim that Antonio Conte is keen to bring in stars to replace the likes of Oscar, Mikel Obi and Branislav Ivanovic who left the club during the summer transfer window. Following Chelsea’s win over Tottenham Hotspur last Saturday, the Italian boss revealed that he will be signing players to that effect.

‘In this season, we have lost [Branislav] Ivanovic, [John Obi] Mikel and next season we lose John Terry.

‘We are talking about players who wrote the history of this club. They won a lot.

‘Now we have to find the right substitutes for these players and then work to put these players at the same level.’

However, Chelsea will have to beat intense competition from Manchester United who are believed to be keen on signing the duo of Van Dijk and Lukaku next summer.
