Blues goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois is reportedly interested in a move to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer.
Reports in the Sun claim that the Belgium international is open to a return to the La Liga and will seriously consider Real Madrid’s offer despite being happy at Chelsea.
Real President Florentino Perez held initial talks with Courtois and is poised to offer him an irrestible deal to lure him away from the Bridge at the end of the season.
Although, Real also fear Chelsea might tie the keeper to a new long term deal before the summer in a bid to ward off their interested.
Reports suggested that the Chelsea board are now looking to offer Courtois a huge pay rise but the Belgian seems to have set his sights on returning to the Spanish capital going by his comments last summer.
Courtois has been a key figure in Chelsea’s title challenge, keeping ten clean sheets in their current 12-game winning streak.
Conte has also set his sights on bringing AC Milan keeper Gianluigi Donnaruama if the Belgian decides to leave but a stumbling block awaits Chelsea in the proposed deal following reports that the Italian outfit is prepared to offer the youngster an improved offer to ward off suitors next summer.
