Alvaro Morata has been linked with Chelsea for quite some time, and going with latest reports, it appears the Spanish star is ready to work with Chelsea’s manager Antonio Conte at the London club.
As the summer transfer window draws nearer, reports has it that La Liga leaders Real Madrid are ready to undergo a huge change to their squad. And news coming out of Spain states that Morata has told Madrid that he wants to join Premier League side Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
Madrid French boss Zinedine Zidane prefers fielding Benzema ahead of Morata, and the 24-year-old recently expressed that he would like playing under Conte in the future.
Morata has reportedly grown increasingly frustrated with the lack of opportunities at Real Madrid. After his impressive time at Juventus which resulted in his return back to the Madrid capital, he was expected to be given a bigger role under the French boss at the club.
Chelsea’s star player Eden Hazard has been linked with a move to Real Madrid, and it was claimed that the club are so committed to getting the Belgian’s signature when summer comes.
Chelsea are reportedly not interested in selling Hazard, but the Spanish giants feels by putting huge money to the table, and adding Morata to the deal, the Stamford Bridge club will have a change of mind.
