Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has made it known that he is not interested in signing another player before the closure of the ongoing winter transfer window.
Liverpool paid Southampton £75million for Virgil Van Dijk’s signature at the start of the year – making the Dutchman the most expensive defender in football history.
Recently, they also complete a deal with Falkirk for Tony Gallacher, paying £200,000 to beat Manchester United for the youngster’s signature.
Jurgen Klopp was expected to add more power to his attack department following Phillipe Coutinho’s exit to Barcelona few days back. His side have been linked with the likes of Thomas Lemar and Riyad Mahrez in recent times, and the fans are patiently awaiting some big news.
However, the former Borussia Dortmund boss is not showing signs he will land another player this month – with the winter window closing next Wednesday.
Klopp was asked if his side would complete any more deals this January, and he simply said it is not ‘really likely’ they will do that.
However, he suggest his side won’t hinder Danny Ings from moving elsewhere on loan before the closure of the window.
The Englishman is yet to start a single top flight game this season so far and has been linked with the likes of West Brom, West Ham, Stoke City and Newcastle United.
