Chelsea youngster Callum Hudson-Odoi has penned his first professional contract with the club, securing his playing future at the West London club he joined at Under 8 youth level.
The teenager can play anywhere up front and has been performing pretty well since the beginning of 2017.
This added up in a dominant display at the U17 FIFA World Cup in India, which saw the attacker provide three goals in the final match as he sealed himself as one of the finest in his record-breaking National side.
The 17-year-old versatile attacker is now tied to Chelsea for three years, the maximum number of years that can be given as a first professional contract.
After another term in the youth rank, the wonderkid will be turning 18 next year and could be loaned out to Dutch side Vitesse or any other club where he can continue his development.
It’s another major milestone in a huge year for Callum Hudson-Odoi, who looks to be growing into becoming the brightest attacking talent in Chelsea’s youth ranks. By the end of this contract, Chelsea fans across the world will hope to have seen more of him and have him challenge for senior first team football at the club.
