Mourinho may not like this but Ed Woodward makes claim of these United stars

The fact that Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho is reported not to be in good terms with some of his players will make this new a bad one for him.

Having spent about £400 million since he emerged as United Boss on the likes of Fred (£52.5 million), Paul Pogba (£89 million) and Romelu Lukaku (£75 million), Mourinho still needs more buys and feels some should be shown the way out of the club.

Arguably, Mourinho has one of the best and most expensive squads in the Premier League and Europe at large.

Obviously, Manchester United chairman, Ed Woodward is not thinking the same direction but thinks of keeping most members of the team and extending the contracts of those who will soon see out theirs.

Some of those Ed Woodward insists must remain at the club and have their contracts extended include David de Gea, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Matteo Darmian,  Antonio Valencia. Andreas Pereira and forwards James Wilson and Anthony Martial.

While some of the players above may not be an issue to Mourinho, the likes of Anthony Martial is believed to be on the black book of the former Chelsea manager and would not be a good idea for him.
